Director of Operations
Carrie Hubbard
Carrie has been with Harbor Architects LLC since 1999 and currently serves as the firm’s Director of Operations. With over 25 years of dedicated service, she oversees all aspects of the firm’s business operations, including financial management, human resources, marketing, IT, contracts, compliance, licensing, grant administration, and more. As the sole non-design staff member, Carrie ensures the day-to-day operations run smoothly while also contributing to the firm’s long-term strategic planning and business development.
Carrie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management and is a Certified Design Firm Administrator (CDFA) through the Society for Design Administration (SDA). She is actively engaged in ongoing professional education and currently serves on the SDA Seattle Chapter Board of Directors and the national Certification Committee. She is also a 2025 recipient of the SDA Star and Gem awards, for her service to the organization and her commitment to excellence in design firm administration.
In addition to her work at the firm, Carrie serves on the Aberdeen City Council, where she is passionate about addressing local issues such as homelessness, infrastructure, and economic revitalization. A lifelong Grays Harbor resident, she brings a deep understanding of the region’s needs and a commitment to community improvement in everything she does.
When she’s not keeping the office running, Carrie enjoys gardening, quilting, and spending time with her two Siamese-tabby cats, Simon and River.
