Director of Operations
Carrie Hubbard
Carrie Hubbard has been a vital part of Harbor Architects LLC since 1999, originally hired as Office Manager and promoted to Director of Operations in 2025. With over two decades of experience managing the firm’s business functions, she is the organizational backbone of the office. If it keeps the firm running, Carrie is involved.
In her current role, Carrie plays a key part in business strategy and operations, supporting the Principal in leadership decisions and increasingly taking the reins on firm management to allow creative staff to focus on design. She handles all project contracts and is the firm’s go-to expert for grant administration, with a long history managing CDBG-funded projects and current involvement in USDA-funded work. Carrie is proficient in QuickBooks, ADP, and manages workflows across MS Office and Adobe platforms. Her clear communication, detail-oriented approach, and unmatched institutional knowledge make her a trusted resource for both clients and colleagues. A lifelong Grays Harbor resident and proud graduate of Grays Harbor College, Carrie is deeply embedded in both civic and professional communities. She serves on the Aberdeen City Council (Ward 4, Position 7), where she sits on the Public Safety and Economic Development Committees. She is also active in the Downtown Aberdeen Association, contributing to the Design and Economic Vitality Committee.
Professionally, Carrie is a Certified Design Firm Administrator (CDFA) through the Society for Design Administration (SDA), where she serves on both the Pacific Northwest Chapter Board and the National Certification Committee. She is also the Treasurer for her local chapter of P.E.O., a philanthropic organization supporting women's education. Through all her roles, Carrie brings a commitment to stewardship, service, and strengthening her community, and carries these values into every project and professional relationship.
