Tanner Venturi
Tanner Venturi joined Harbor Architects in November 2023 after earning his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon. In his first year with the firm, Tanner has proven to be a poised and capable designer with a strong visual sensibility and excellent communication skills. His calm, professional demeanor makes him a natural collaborator with clients, consultants, and colleagues alike.
Tanner contributes to a wide variety of projects at Harbor Architects, from early concept design through construction documentation. He works closely with clients to interpret their vision into thoughtful, functional design solutions, and brings precision and creativity to architectural drawings and presentation materials. His background in the arts, combined with a strong academic foundation, supports a holistic and intentional approach to design. Originally from Vashon Island, Tanner has a deep appreciation for coastal life and the arts. He is a former Youth Poet Laureate and art editor of a literary magazine, and his visual art has been exhibited at the Vashon Center for the Arts. In his free time, he enjoys beach outings, camping, and working in a variety of artistic mediums, including ink, watercolor, and charcoal. His artistic roots and love of place inform his architectural perspective and commitment to meaningful design.
