NEW RESTAURANTOCEAN CREST RESORTMOCLIPS, WASHINGTON
A devastating fire in June of 2011 totally destroyed the Restaurant at the Ocean Crest Resort. This anchor building was perched on top of the bluff overlooking the surf and beach of Moclips, Washington. Determined to rebuild this famous facility of fine northwest dining, the Curtright family enlisted the aid of Alan Gozart AIA and Harbor Architects LLC. Alan previously worked on a significant addition and remodel to the existing structure in 1985.
The new facility consists of a main level of 3,680 square feet that includes a Dining Room, seating (48), a Lounge, seating (21), a partially-covered 770 square feet outdoor deck, and a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen. The new facility is again perched on the same bluff location, firmly anchored with (24) driven steel piles.
