NEW HEALTHCARE CLINICSUMMIT PACIFIC MEDICAL CENTERMCCLEARY, WASHINGTON
Harbor Architects LLC was brought into this project as part of a team assembled by Grenville Properties, to design a new 6000+ SF Healthcare Clinic for Summit Pacific Medical Center and Grays Harbor Hospital District #1. Included in the project was a privately owned, 1500 SF pharmacy.
Harbor Architects LLC began the design process in meetings with the developer to choose the best project site for this new state of the art facility for the community of McCleary, Washington. After selecting the site, Harbor Architects LLC met with the medical clinic providers and hospital administration to determine the needs of a new facility and develop an appropriate design that met all of these needs.
Throughout the design process, Harbor Architects LLC worked closely with the intended contractor to estimate and control costs, while collectively choosing materials and building methods which would work together to create the ideal space. Concurrent with the design process, Harbor Architects LLC assisted with zoning changes and permitting for the demolition of existing structures on the site as well as construction of the new building.
Harbor Architects LLC remained part of the team through construction, helping to provide construction administration and project management through weekly meetings. At these meetings, Harbor Architects LLC assisted in developer and tenant communications.
A ribbon cutting was hosted in April of 2016, and operation of both clinic and pharmacy began shortly after.
