STEWART FIELD IMPROVEMENTSABERDEEN SCHOOL DISTRICTABERDEEN, WASHINGTON

Professional services included bidding and construction documents for a new grandstand roof and field lighting for Stewart Field, which serves the Aberdeen School District’s sports programs.  At the request of the District, Harbor Architects LLC inspected the existing wood grandstand condition and recommended immediate demolition due to significant deterioration.  Poor soil conditions dictated unusual pile supported foundations for both the roof structure and field lighting bases.
A second phase of improvements consists of new restrooms, concessions area and storage spaces, located west of the grandstands.
