Harbor Architects LLC was hired to assist the City of Hoquiam with needed repairs to the Historic Library property.  In January of 2015, the region experienced a massive rain storm that caused devastating flooding.  The Library experienced standing water in its lower level and needed to complete remediation efforts along with their desired improvements.  Other improvements included a new roof, replacing doors, windows and hardware, repairs to existing masonry, new interior carpeting and paint and upgraded elevator controls, all while respecting the historic nature of the building.  Harbor Architects LLC has assisted in providing a prioritized list of repairs and improvements that can be accomplished via a Community Development Block Grant, State of Washington Appropriation, and Grays Harbor Community Foundation Grant.
